Good review. Why is paint.net not on the list?

  2. James Leahy says:

The reason we did not include paint.net, is that filters are a jumbled mess of scripts and individually created filters with little standardization. We tried paint.net many times and always reached the same conclusion: We became a slave to the process instead of getting our work done in a timely manner.
